#1 THE OIL

Press The Cap Down Firmly and Unscrew Lid at The Same Time.
This Next Step is only Needed The Very First Use but it is "Crucial"
Really Soak the Tile Cutting Wheel in Oil the First Time You Use it, Run the wheel up and down on a board of wood with a good bit of pressure and rigorously - apply pressure side to side at the same time, this makes sure that the oil goes all around the wheel bearing and also makes the super hard wheel grind flat any tiny high spots or burrs of steel in the steel bearing that may have expanded due to temp changes on route etc. this also clears out any bits of packaging that may have lodged in there during its voyage to you from Scotland. Don't Worry you cannot Hurt Our Wheel no matter how hard you score, its harder than any steel.
When using the Cutter you must put a drop or two of oil on the Tile cutting blade every cut or 2nd Cut.
That lubricates the Tile Scoring Wheel making sure any Tile and Glass Splinters do not make the wheel drag instead of turn freely and score the surface. So the more you can oil it the better.
There is a big difference between scratching a line across the surface and scoring a Tiny V Shape in it.
One will just scratch a mark across the surface whilst the other Physically Creates a v shaped Weakness in the Tile or Glass, where it can then be manipulated by bending the tile to separate along the groove and break - See videos.
#2 The Amazing Tile And Glass Cutter
When Held Correctly this Tool is capable of cutting just under Quarter circle Curves and even semi circles when used in conjunction with the diamond blade, even Wiggles and Straight Lines in Ceramic Tile Glass Tiles and Many Porcelain Tiles if Sufficient Pressure is Applied. It can be used on its own or in conjunction with a Diamond Blade just to score curves prior to grinding to Prevent Tile Chipping Which can Occur with a Diamond Blade Alone - See Videos.
